Support Hours: Monday to Thursday – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

The program serves youth age 13-18. The youth outreach worker:
-Provides non-judgmental and confidential emotional support
-Provides information and support for healthier life choices
-Assesses alcohol and drug use, depression, suicide risk, sexual activity, and abuse issues. Anyone can refer to the youth outreach program and self-referrals are accepted (parents don’t have to know)

East Kootenay Addiction Services Society

Provides free and confidential counselling to youth, adults, couples, and families dealing with difficulties from their own or someone else’s substance use. In addition, we provide a referral to approved residential treatment and detox facilities, school-based educational programs,
community education, outreach, harm reduction programs, and our youth Teen Empowerment and Mastery Program (TEAM)

Drop-in hours: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

This office provides sexual and reproductive health services, care, and information. Look for the sign out front of the Interior Health Office at the hospital. No appointment is necessary.

Columbia Valley RCMP Victim Services

The Hospice Society of the Columbia Valley exists to assist individuals and families in recognizing and accepting death as a part of life.

 

Any teachers or support workers at your school will help you find the resources or help that you may need. The School District has counsellors at your school that you can talk to. Talk to your teacher or your preferred adult at school.
